Manturov: The Far East will fly to Crimea for vacation
The Russian aircraft industry is provided with orders for at least six years.
The Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov stated this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, today the state, without demanding subsequent repayment of direct costs, supports the aircraft industry with rubles.
“We will get it through taxes from the production of aircraft, the creation of jobs and infrastructure. Of course, the key question is the final cost of the ticket. Passengers will not have to pay for new Russian aircraft out of their own pockets.
We will compensate part of the costs for them on certain routes - so that a person from the Far East can fly to Crimea and sunbathe in the summer, at least once a year,” Manturov told Kommersant.
He noted that for these purposes, preferential loans from the National Welfare Fund will be provided at 1,5%, so that this will be beneficial for airlines and inexpensive in comparison with previously signed agreements on leasing foreign equipment.
“We are creating competitive conditions - for example, VAT on the production of aircraft was canceled a year and a half ago,” the minister added.
In turn, the publication clarified that if in two years Russia makes peace with Ukraine, will Boeing and Airbus return to the market.
“We can, of course, discuss this with you, but the plans that have been drawn up, provided with a budget and signed will be implemented. Regardless of how the geopolitical situation develops, we are provided with aviation-related orders for at least six years,” Manturov replied.
