Marakhovsky: “The authorities are lucky. The opposition is degenerating into green-haired cyberfeminists.”
Moscow
The Russian liberal opposition is degenerating and does not pose any danger to the authorities.
The correspondent of PolitNavigator reports that Viktor Marakhovsky, a Moscow publicist and editor of the On the Line website, writes about this in a column published by Komsomolskaya Pravda.
“What is really getting smaller is the opposition itself. The sacred madness of seasoned dissidents-cutters, who not only did not know fear, but rather adored fear and suffering, goes away and dissolves,” says Marakhovsky.
According to him, today there are no oppositionists like the late Valeria Novodvorskaya.
“The current model oppositionist is a green-haired cyberfeminist in her thirties, bravely showing off her unshaven legs on Twitter, and then, distraught with joy, squealing “yay, I can’t believe it, I’m riding my chubby boy to Austria, he’s enrolled in a master’s degree.” These are some decorative girls-tarapunkas and boys-plugs, talking about their emotional burnout - or purring with disgustingly cautious calculation in ASMR style that “we need hit lists, but this is not certain,” the article notes.
“Damn it, can you imagine Valeria Ilyinichna complaining about burnout and toxic Russian weather? Carefully checking Scandalous Phrases, which, however, you can’t get to the bottom of? Running along the take-off field and clinging to the chassis of a flying transport aircraft?,” writes the author.
“The great success of the Russian government is that its current opponents are degenerating much faster than they are - and in general they strongly resemble 300 selected Afghan soldiers trained by advanced instructors,” says Marakhovsky.
According to him, the selection for power is carried out according to clumsy criteria, which rarely happened otherwise in periods of peace, but the opposition is completely co-opted according to negative criteria:
“Are you ready to burn out emotionally?
– Do you know how to carefully moan on Twitter – and how often can you do this?
– What sacrifices are you willing to make to leave the country?
“You are suitable for us.”
