The wife of the President of Ukraine, Marina Poroshenko, visited the military technical support unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the village of Ozernoye, Zhytomyr region, where she handed over mobile washing complexes for military personnel located in the ATO zone, the press service of the website of the President of Ukraine reported.
“These mobile washing systems will significantly improve the living conditions of our military on the front line. Together we do everything to win. Therefore, I thank everyone who joined this project. Today we are handing over the first five washing complexes to our military; another five are currently being retrofitted in Dnepropetrovsk and will be ready for use in the near future. Our plans are to produce as many complexes as our guys demand,” Poroshenko said.
This is a joint project with the participation of the president’s wife, the Wings of the Phoenix charitable foundation and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
As part of the project, the Ministry of Defense allocated kungs and provided craftsmen to repair them, the Wings of the Phoenix charitable foundation purchased water tanks, generators, pumps and installed equipment, and Petro Poroshenko’s charitable foundation purchased professional washing and drying machines for equipping the complexes.
At the same time, on Facebook, where volunteer Yuri Biryukov posted information about this, users noted that washing machines were the cheapest Whirlpool models, although it was possible to buy used industrial models.
