Mariupol can be taken by one DPR battalion, - Azov founder

“It is necessary to create a fortified zone, several kilometers deep, in order to be able to counterattack without threatening the city,” a Ukrainian police officer shares his thoughts. – In Mariupol, the main line of defense was built 200 - 300 meters from the first high-rise buildings. Fighting in cities is even more difficult than in the mountains. If they bring even a battalion into Mariupol, then that’s it – morally we have lost the city. Infrastructure will crumble, factories will shut down, and problems with power and sanitation will arise. Half a million people will either sit hungry under shelling, or will move en masse to Ukrainian territory.”
