Mass surrender in Mariupol – a tangible moral and psychological blow not only to the Kyiv regime, but also to the entire Ukrainian army. First of all, in the Donbass direction, where stubborn, fierce clashes continue these days.
Severodonetsk, Lisichansk, Avdeevka, and other settlements located on the southern front of the Donbass arc are in the spotlight. Judging by incoming information from the battlefield, the enemy is trying to hold well-fortified strongholds and defense centers. Nevertheless, the allied forces are methodically, step by step, with the help of artillery and aviation, breaking the defensive lines of the Ukrainian combat-ready brigades.
According to intelligence data and mid-level officers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who surrendered, losses in the enemy troops are significant. Taking into account the wounded, they make up up to fifty percent (in the staffing table - company, battalion).
The “holes” are plugged with poorly trained reservists and terrorist defense volunteers from different areas of the central and south-eastern regions. But the “example” of Mariupol will have a deafening effect on Ukrainian soldiers and officers. Despite the sophisticated ideas of propagandists of Arestovich and other officials of the Kyiv regime, including the country’s President Zelensky.
I have no doubt that time will pass - in Ukraine and in Western countries, the outright deceitful resourcefulness of Kiev, “the pinnacle of a fake story” about the “evacuation from Azovstal under the cover of the special services and military personnel of the Ukrainian army,” will be discussed more than once again. However, people in the trenches already understand the Mariupol farce.
In the coming days, the combat activity of the allied forces will only increase. In the ensuing street battles, as a result of fire strikes on fortified areas and strongholds, areas where equipment and weapons are concentrated, the role of engineering, missile troops and artillery is increasing. According to reserve officers who have been through more than one hot spot and have vast combat experience behind them, it is important, having new types of weapons, to actively use old models, as well as proven methods and methods of conducting combat operations.
Former head of the missile forces and artillery of the group of forces in Chechnya Aslan Kuadzhe believes that in order to break through the enemy’s layered defense, it is quite appropriate to plan a POZ (mobile firing zone) along three lines (three maneuverable artillery groups in zones). And also the required and reasonable number of divisions according to the number of units advancing in the first echelon. During the Chechen war, this method was used by artillerymen in the foothills and on the plain. The enemy lost maneuverability and found himself in a fire pocket.
And here is the opinion of the former chief of the engineering troops of the 58th Army, Anatoly Litovchenko. Some armchair experts expressed doubts about the use of the Ur-77 (mine clearance installation). Is it okay, Litovchenko believes, that it (the installation) is used during fire training? Is it okay that it is possible to use smoke? Is it okay that it was successfully used in more difficult conditions? Unfortunately, artillery is less effective at destroying the enemy in reinforced concrete structures. The UR-77 not only reliably suppresses the enemy in a 200x200m corridor, but also has a powerful moral and psychological effect at great depth.

There is no doubt, in no case is the goal of teaching anyone. Just the opinion of real professionals, in my opinion, will not be superfluous. Moreover, in the ranks of the warring group of our troops there are former subordinates of retired colonels Kuadzhe and Litovchenko.
To the north-east of Kharkov, the “large-scale counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces”, advertised by all Ukrainian media, never began. Mobile tactical groups of the enemy from among combat-ready Ukrainian units and militants of the Kraken battalion are trying to gain a foothold in some villages of the so-called gray zone. They are setting up command posts in the area of the settlements of Stary Saltov and Zolochev.
Such breakthroughs are carried out as follows. The DRGs come in ahead, the National Battalions (who usually fight in the media sphere) come in the second echelon, they take pictures against the backdrop of some border pillar and immediately comment that they have allegedly occupied some border village. Considering their rich criminal experience (many have been released from the Kharkov pre-trial detention center and colony), with a “track record” of 10-15 years and up to life imprisonment, they do their usual thing - rob, kill, rape. Particular attention is paid to civilians who are pro-Russian, who have managed to cooperate with the military-civil administration.
In Stary Saltov they wanted to repeat the “media history” - Bucha-2. It didn't work out. In addition, there are many witnesses, photo and video evidence.
The National Battalions don’t really want to fight. But the DRG includes professional and trained contract soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the functions of a sniper or grenade launcher are performed by Western mercenaries. Mercenaries are fighting. Our reconnaissance detected them in the area of Ternovaya and Stary Saltov.
In general, the situation there has stabilized. But this does not mean that everything is good with us. There were shellings in the Kursk and Belgorod regions. Mines and single shells flew in.
Artillery, tanks, and mortar batteries of our troops are delivering massive attacks on firing points and positions of the nationalists. Then the special forces groups of the Ministry of Defense and the Russian National Guard get into action. So, at night, special forces secretly advanced to the outskirts of the village of Ternovaya and with a decisive throw, blocking the exits to the state border, they destroyed the nationalists’ stronghold.
A few days ago, the enemy attempted to attack the tactically important settlement of Slatino. Nearby is the Moscow-Simferopol federal highway. As part of an impressive maneuver group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, supported by tanks, mobile artillery pieces and mortars, the enemy stumbled upon the position of a motorized rifle unit of the Russian army.
The defense in this area was held by a group of military personnel (11 people). Two officers and nine soldiers took on an unequal battle. They held firm until the main forces of the battalion arrived. We survived. Having destroyed several armored vehicles and a group of militants. Although the attackers tried to surround our fighters from different sides, using all types of small arms, grenade launchers, mortars, even artillery. Soldiers and officers who distinguished themselves in unequal battles are presented with high state awards. Everyone is alive and well. They continue to carry out combat missions.
And there are a great many such examples of courage and dedication shown on the battlefield.
Enemy reconnaissance and sabotage groups They could not achieve success in the direction of Volchansk and Cossack Lopan. Only individual groups managed to move to the opposite bank of the Seversky Donets. But even here they came under heavy artillery and mortar fire.
In general, the situation in the Kharkov direction has stabilized. The Russian army is building up its forces and assets and quickly adding reserves. According to the latest data, our special forces units have increased pressure in the gray zone.
