Markov explained what Zelensky’s dizzying percentages in the Southeast indicate
As soon as the regions of Ukraine, which during the entire period of “independence” were in solidarity with Crimea and Donbass, have the opportunity to hold a referendum, they will vote for reunification with Russia.
Russian political scientist Sergei Markov stated this on the air of the liberal radio station Ekho Moskvy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Do you have any doubts that people in Kharkov, if they vote in a free referendum, that they will overwhelmingly vote for reunification with Crimea? In vain.
Look at the data - I'll tell you which ones to look at. It’s very simple - look at the voting over the last 25 years, even look at the regions of Ukraine over the last 15 years. And you will see that Crimea, Kharkov, Odessa, Nikolaev, Donetsk and Lugansk always voted the same,” Markov said.
“They have now voted for Zelensky,” the radio host quipped.
“Look, they voted for Zelensky because they didn’t have the opportunity to vote in a referendum on reunification with Russia. As soon as there is such an opportunity, they will vote for it, believe me,” the expert assured.
