The regional officer left the pre-trial detention center with a smile, TSN reports. His wife and mother greeted him with flowers. His supporters demanded Markov’s release throughout Tuesday.
The politician said nothing about his political plans.
“I haven’t seen my son. I want to go home,” he said.
Markov also thanked the people of Odessa, emphasizing that if it weren’t for them, he would not have been free.
