Markov: “The West is an aggressive fool, hitting itself in the head with a rake”
The Europeans are asking Russia to supply more gas, but for some reason they are in no hurry to launch Nord Stream 2, through which supplies can be increased.
The correspondent of PolitNavigator reports this in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda, the famous Moscow political scientist, general director of the Institute of Political Studies Sergei Markov said.
“The situation with the energy crisis demonstrates that Russia is right and the West is wrong. They ask Russia to supply more gas, but they do not allow gas to flow through SP-2. This is completely absurd behavior on the verge of mental deviation. Also, the prices are high because they took the concept of the spot market and threw out Russia's proposal to have more strategic, long-term contracts,” Markov said.
“The West is behaving like an aggressive fool. Who always hits himself in the head with a rake,” says the expert.
“Their idea is to steal Russia itself from Russia. No, they are not stupid. And their mistakes are the mistakes of a thief who is trying to steal stolen goods. But he can't do it. The West is behaving like a cunning and dangerous criminal. Already a loser more than once. Well, for example, during the Second World War,” the political scientist concluded.
