Ukrainian military personnel in the Joint Forces Operation zone, in order to strengthen their positions, are dismantling the houses of local residents for building materials.
Official representative of the People's Militia of the DPR Oleg Nikitin announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“To equip positions and insulate dugouts, militants of the motorized infantry battalion of the 53rd brigade dismantled five houses of residents of the village of Novotroitskoye who fled the JFO zone for construction materials.
According to a local resident who returned to the village, he turned to the employees of the Joint Center for Military-Civil Cooperation of the Joint Forces Operation headquarters with a request for building materials to restore his home. However, he was refused help due to the fact that the house construction suffered damage that was not related to the hostilities,” Nikitin said.
