“To the north of the village of Spartak there is a garage cooperative. Since the summer of 2014, the garage farm has found itself in a no-man's land - between the positions of the DPR army and Ukrainian troops.
Early in the morning of May 10, three Ukrainian soldiers made their way to the garages. The purpose of their appearance on the territory of the garage cooperative was banal: looting.
The looters went around several garages, where they took what they liked. The doors of some garages were not locked; others were forced open. But when trying to penetrate one of them, an explosion was heard.
This happened at 7 am on May 10th. It turned out that there was a stretcher installed on the back of the doors. The wire, strained due to an attempt to open the garage doors, pulled the pin of the grenade, which exploded.
Of the three looters, one was killed on the spot, the other two were wounded and shell-shocked,” Kharkova reports.
