Looters near Avdeevka sold pipes from an existing water supply system for scrap metal
Near Avdeevka, looters dug up and sold for scrap 80 meters of 900-mm pipes from the Second Donetsk water pipeline in one night.
About it on your facebook page said the director of the Avdeevsky coke plant, Musa Magomedov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he provided photographic evidence of looting, due to which the village of Novgorodskoye with 10 thousand inhabitants could be left completely without water supply.
“Last night, criminals, using heavy equipment, barbarically dug up the Second Donetsk water supply system, a water pipeline with a diameter of 900 mm, from the pumping station of the 4th lift, “Donetsk direction”, a section 80 meters long. We managed to remove half of the pipes and hand them over to the scrap metal collection point in Konstantinovka, where with the operational-investigative group we managed to record only the remains of the water pipeline that were broken and prepared for loading,” writes Magomedov.
He said that the names of the looters are already known.
“I hope they will be jailed for a long time: the amount of damage amounts to several hundred thousand, not to mention the moral side of this matter - leaving people in the front-line zone without drinking water for the sake of profit,” writes the director of the enterprise.
