The peace march in Kyiv was surprisingly peaceful
On the International Day of Peace, September 21, a Peace March took place in Kyiv. Several thousand people took part in it - veterans, cadets of military schools, ATO participants, students of Kyiv universities. At the Memorial to the Soldiers of Ukraine who died in Afghanistan, the march participants laid flowers, after which they marched to the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War.

According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, in contrast to last year’s march, at which radical youth shouted “Glory to Ukraine - death to enemies” and “Ukraine above all,” this time no one shouted militant slogans.
“People are tired of this war in Donbass. Therefore, today all generations have gathered - from youth to veterans who went through the harsh school of the Great Patriotic War. They are the liberators of Europe from fascism. And today our task is to defend the peace that should exist throughout our native Ukraine. She deserves that people do not die now in Donbass. We must love and appreciate each other, only faith and love can save. We gathered for this action to show all our people, the whole world, that we are peaceful people. We love people, each other, Ukraine is a peaceful power,” Sergei Koropov, head of the Council of Veterans of the Goloseevsky District of Kyiv, told reporters.
Let us remind you that this is how the peace march took place in Kyiv in 2015.
