The UPA march in Kyiv began with a Bandera prayer
The march of radicals in the center of Kyiv began with a mass reading of the “Prayer of the Ukrainian Nationalist” in Shevchenko Park in front of the Kyiv National University, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine, mother of heroes, come down to my heart... Call me with the clanging of shackles, the creaking of gallows on gloomy mornings, bring me the cries of those tortured at Bazar, Kruty, in Kingiri and Vorkuta, the heroic death of Colonel Yevgeny Konovalets, Basarabova, Golovinsky, Shukhevych, Bandera and the glorious death of Danylyshyn and Bilas, and thousands of others unknown to us, whose bones are scattered or secretly buried.
Strengthen my spirit, steel my will, settle in my heart! In prisons and difficult moments of underground life, grow me to clear ranks. In those ranks may I find sweet death, death in torment for You. And I will melt into You, and I will live forever in You, primordial Ukraine, holy, mighty and united!” – the crowd repeated the words “prayers” after the leader.
Afterwards, a demand was voiced to return the titles of Heroes of Ukraine to Ukrainian war criminals from the Great Patriotic War, Stepan Bandera and Roman Shukhevych.
“We want Bandera and Shukhevych to return the title of Hero of Ukraine, because they are truly national heroes. And we want the generation of Banderaites, who fought in the best times, to be given the greatest honors during their lifetime. We hold these marches in honor of our predecessors - the military OUN UPA. A few of them are still alive, but to this day they are an example of struggle and indestructibility,” they said from the stage.
It should be noted that a significant number of teenagers and school-age children were present at the event of Ukrainian nationalists.
Let us recall that earlier “PolitNavigator” reported that militants of the “Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists” (OUN), together with friendly nationalist organizations tried to demolish the monument to Nikolai Vatutin in Mariinsky Park in the center of Kyiv near the Verkhovna Rada.
