Moscow, September 21 (PolitNavigator, Ivan Nikashin) – The march of liberals in support of the Ukrainian authorities in Moscow gathered about 10 thousand people (the organizers claim 100 thousand), a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. Participants in the opposition rally are chanting “Peace for Ukraine, freedom for Russia. Putin is a shame!”, “Don’t shoot our brothers!”, “Ukraine, we are with you!”, “Bring home Russian soldiers!”, “This is our city!”, “Get rid of the gang!”
The participants of the demonstration did not forget the Femen slogan “Ukraine is not Alina.”
Boris Nemtsov’s associates also unfurled posters “No to war with Ukraine,” “Ukraine, forgive me!”, “It’s better to be active today than radioactive tomorrow,” etc.
After some time, one of the women began to sing the Ukrainian anthem, and then shouted the slogans of Ukrainian nationalists: “Glory to Ukraine - glory to the heroes!”, “Glory to the nation - death to the enemies!” The crowd of Russian liberals took up the chant.
A police helicopter flies over the procession, monitoring the protest.
