“A large-scale reconstruction of the Kerch ferry crossing has been completed, its capacity has been increased to 50 thousand passengers per day, 10 thousand cars and thousands of trucks. As of today, there is no queue, informing citizens has been organized taking into account unfavorable weather conditions - informing citizens in advance about the situation at the ferry crossing. An electronic queue has been established and booking tickets via the Internet for this crossing is working successfully,” the official website of the Cabinet of Ministers quotes the Deputy Prime Minister.
The Deputy Prime Minister recalled that this year a single ticket will continue to work, when transportation will be carried out by rail, then through the crossing and again by rail on the Crimean side.
“There will be a direct train connection from Moscow to Simferopol. This also significantly increases the transport accessibility of the Crimean Peninsula for Russian tourists,” added Dmitry Kozak.
