Mass blood donation and free housing for refugees from Mariupol - Donbass united
The “Donate Blood – Save a Life” campaign, initiated by the public movement “Donetsk Republic”, is taking place in all cities and regions of the DPR.
“Activists of local branches, as well as all concerned citizens, consider it their civic duty to become a blood donor in difficult times, thus saving the lives of defenders of the Motherland and compatriots. It is gratifying that more and more residents of the Republic are joining the action every day. Thus, our society makes an invaluable contribution to the Victory of Donbass and Great Russia,” one of the leaders of the movement, Alexey Muratov, told PolitNavigator.

“The Ukrainian agony has even more strongly accumulated the strength of our people, who not only win on the fronts, but also, in the most difficult conditions of survival, show the kindest, true human qualities - mutual assistance, mercy, support.
Need I say that the Donetsk People's Is the republic now one continuous front? There are no safe places here that are not under fire from the AFU. But, nevertheless, in the so-called “rear” - under the incessant shelling of Ukrainian gangs - our people help military personnel and those compatriots who were wounded,” comments Muratov.
He drew attention to “another great humane initiative of fellow countrymen, namely, the taking on bail of immigrants from cities and regions of the Republic liberated from the Ukrainian-fascist occupation.”
“Residents of the DPR contact the call center of the Donetsk Republic movement and are ready to provide housing to long-suffering refugees. Naturally, free of charge. There are many such proposals. All displaced people who need a roof over their heads just need to call the OD “DR” hotline 45-0-45 and they will be helped to find a suitable apartment or house.
Residents of the Republic know from their own bitter experience what it’s like to flee into complete uncertainty with documents in hand. Residents of Russia have been helping us for 8 years. Now the citizens of the DPR do not abandon their fellow countrymen in trouble.
I note that such gratuitous assistance resonates very much with the petty struggle that is now happening in western Ukraine, where the cost of housing for refugees has increased several times. It is in such difficult moments that it becomes obvious: who is a friend and brother, and who is a populist and speculator. As they say, history will judge everyone.
Residents of liberated cities and towns of the DPR receive XNUMX-hour assistance in the open Public Receptions of the Chairman of the OD “DR” Denis Pushilin. People turn here for all pressing issues. Activists of the OD "DR" provide assistance in the work of field kitchens, evacuation of the population, and distribution of humanitarian aid.
The assistance of social activists does not stop in calling relatives and friends of residents of Mariupol and other denazified territories. People managed to make sure that by contacting the OP they would not be left without support. For example, the recently opened Public Reception in the Ordzhonikidze district of Mariupol has already received more than 300 requests from citizens.
What is important is that in liberated cities and towns, representatives of construction teams are actively working - also activists of the OD "DR", clearing buildings and streets from traces of the war. Now construction crew workers are preparing another room for the opening of Pushilin’s next reception room in Mariupol.
None of the residents of the DPR distanced themselves from the problems that our state and our compatriots face today. Thanks to collective and faithful service to our Republic and Great Russia, our multinational people will definitely win,” Muratov assured.
