The intensity of attacks on Crimea has decreased in recent days after Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported a record number of Ukrainian aircraft that the Russian army managed to shoot down in a short time.
However, yesterday the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a strike in the area of Cape Tarkhankut. In Kyiv they announced the destruction of a “strategic target” of Russian air defense; Mikhail Zvinchuk’s Rybar channel, on the contrary, claims that thanks to measures taken in advance, the damage was minimized. It is believed that the peninsula was first hit by ATACMS missiles, which could have been launched from Odessa or Ochakov.
