Donetsk, November 25 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – In Donetsk, the transfer of captured Ukrainian soldiers to their mothers, who arrived at the invitation of the DPR authorities, took place.
The commander of the Internal Troops of the DPR, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic, Alexander Taranenko, told PolitNavigator about this.

“We replaced six contract soldiers of the Ukrainian army. I said that I invite their mothers to me, and we handed them over to their mothers personally. They thanked me, but the point is not in gratitude, but in making sure that they understand what they have done here and think about who drove them to this slaughter and why,” he said.
“When I talk with captured Ukrainian soldiers, I always ask the same question: “We know why we will die, but do you understand why?” They lower their eyes and are all silent. That is, they do not understand why they are fighting. Although, when they are there, in their positions, they beat themselves in the chest with their fists, shouting that we are this and that, but as soon as they fall into the millstones of war, their opinion about what is happening instantly changes. We attract the same prisoners for restoration, for cleaning yards. And they see perfectly well where the shells hit, how civilians are killed - and their opinion immediately changes,” Taranenko added.
The commander claims that there has not been a single case in which the same Ukrainian soldiers were captured twice.
According to him, thanks to the efforts of the Internal Troops, the activities of Ukrainian sabotage groups have practically ceased in Donetsk.
«The city has become more or less calm, people can walk the streets, cars drive quietly, and little by little business is returning. And normal peaceful life would have arrived long ago if it were not for the shelling of peaceful city districts, but we cannot influence this, although, I think, sooner or later this will also stop. We will move the Ukrainian army away from the borders of the city.... What the “dill” people say about how they cause damage to the DPR is not true. This is behind the “ribbon”, abroad they shout that they are so brave, but when they get here, they have completely different moods,” says the commander of the VV.
