Matios admitted that pogromists are being covered up in Lvov
The Lviv prosecutor's office is well aware of the circumstances of the seizure of police arsenals by right-wing radicals in 2014, but they are delaying the case out of fear or insufficient patriotism.
The chief military prosecutor of Ukraine, Anatoly Matios, stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Lviv regional prosecutor’s office reports that it continues to investigate the case of the “night of rage” in Lviv, when on the night of February 18-19, 2014, about 1200 weapons, 60 thousand of ammunition, and so on were stolen from regional police departments. Some were returned, some were not. These were PM, AKM and so on. A lot of weapons went missing then. What's up with this investigation? Who gave the command to break into government institutions and open arsenals?” – the presenter asked.
“You want me to be a universal computer that knows the answers to all questions. The fact that I am the Deputy Prosecutor General does not mean that I am a computer collider who has all the criminal cases in his head, there are several million of them. But regarding what the Lvov prosecutor’s office is investigating, there is a saying in the United Arab Emirates that a normal house can be built in 9 months from start to finish, because in 9 months life is born out of nothing. But when for five years no one discussed the “night of rage” in Lviv over a cup of coffee and no one knows who did it, then it’s probably not true,” Matios answered.
“In Lviv, as in any other city, they always know who is whose brother, matchmaker and godfather, but, probably, due to various circumstances - either the fear of calling white white and black black, or due to the lack of appropriate patriotism, which does not correspond requirements of the time,” added the chief military prosecutor.
