On TV channel 112, he said that the bill is written superficially and does not in any way solve the issues of returning uncontrolled territories to Ukraine.
According to him, the document contains a lot of pitfalls that can lead to big problems, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s nonsense when one committee proposes for the entire state to legalize the return and reintegration of occupied territories... This law contains so many underwater legal mines that lead to small cataclysms and apocalypses for individual people of Donbass... I haven’t heard who will supervise the peacekeeping contingent , which should amount, according to experts, to 30 thousand military personnel of other countries. Who? The civil prosecutor's office, the deputies who cannot gather in the hall?
This speaks of an exclusively superficial political, populist approach to meet immediate needs... I don’t see a comprehensive approach, this cannot be done and this is not the committee’s business. Are we saying through the Reintegration Law through the Defense Committee that we will be in a state of war permanently? This cannot be the case, no war has lasted forever,” said Matios.
