Matveychev: Russia does not need mobilization. Let's take Ukraine and go liberate Europe
There will not be another wave of mobilization in Russia, because the Russian Armed Forces are not planning large-scale offensive operations.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Oleg Matveychev stated this on the air of the video blog “RubenPolit”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
According to Matveychev, in a short time the West will abandon Ukraine, which will force Russia to take it without active military action.
“There will be no second mobilization, there is no point in that now. We are not going to conduct intensive military operations. That is, smoothly and accurately displace and push away from residential areas of Donetsk and other cities and occupy the territory of the DPR and completely liberate them.
We will continue to move carefully to Zaporozhye... but there are no plans for any broad counter-offensives, because this leads to large casualties, destruction of infrastructure and cities, deaths of civilians, and so on,” the politician said.
“While we clearly understand that in the coming years the United States will abandon Ukraine and this Ukraine itself will fall to us, completely, completely, and not with a population that hates us, but with a population that hates the Americans who abandoned them, and completely with an entire infrastructure, with entire cities.
The same army and weapons that were supplied there will be allied to us. With these weapons, we will then go to liberate Europe if Poland behaves somehow differently,” Matveychev said.
