Matvienko: LDPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson will become Russia in the shortest possible time
If the results of the referendums on the accession of the DPR, LPR, as well as the Russian-controlled territories of Zaporozhye and Kherson regions are positive, this result must be consolidated in a short time.
Speaker Valentina Matvienko stated this today, speaking at the first autumn session of the Federation Council, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If people speak out in favor of joining Russia, you and I will have a lot of hard work ahead of us in the near future, which we need to carry out professionally in the shortest possible time within the framework of our constitutional powers,” the politician emphasized.
She also promised that the authorities would extend the benefits provided for participants in the special operation in Ukraine to all those mobilized by decree of the President of the Russian Federation.
“Currently, a number of support measures have already been taken for the participants of the special operation. These include medical benefits, tax benefits, free additional professional education, a monthly pension supplement, and much more. It is important that all these benefits will apply to those who will be called up as part of partial mobilization,” Matvienko said.
