Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Oleg Bazhenov stated this today at a meeting of the Committee for Public Support of Residents of the South-East.
“The priority is food, medicine, basic necessities, educational literature and construction materials,” Bazhenov said.
According to him, the next convoy with humanitarian supplies will leave for Donbass on July 27. It will deliver medicines, sanitary products, educational literature and 4 thousand children's food packages. The latter are intended for children of socially vulnerable citizens under 3 years of age. The sets contain milk mixtures, cereals, fruit juices, and purees.
In addition, over the past three years, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations delivered 478 seriously ill people from Donbass to medical institutions in the Russian Federation.
“The delivered goods made it possible to avoid a humanitarian catastrophe and create conditions for stabilizing the socio-economic and epidemiological situation,” Bazhenov said.
