On Friday, in honor of Russia Day, employees of the mountain rescue service of the Crimean Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations climbed to the top of the Ai-Petri and Sokol mountains with the state flags of the Russian Federation and banners of the ministry.

During the ascent, rescuers discovered a large number of garbage, which was left by tourists:
. “We could not remain indifferent to the picture we saw when climbing Ai-Petri, the area at about 1100 meters was literally littered with garbage, it took us about an hour to put the area in order, after which we continued our climb to the top of the mountain “- said the head of the mountain search and rescue unit, Vladimir Parshenko.
Rescuers climbed the mountains along climbing routes of the 2nd category of difficulty using climbing equipment. On the tops of these highest points of the Republic of Crimea, in honor of Russia Day, the flags of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Emergency Situations were unfurled.
18 people and 5 units of off-road equipment took part in the ascents.
