“With a sword in the impudent crusader’s face!”: The State Duma made a decision in defense of the UOC
The State Duma of the Russian Federation today adopted a statement on the repressive policy of the Kyiv regime aimed at destroying the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The text of the statement was agreed upon with the hierarchy of the Russian Orthodox Church.
“Deputies of the State Duma declare that the lives of monks and priests of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra are under threat, and believe that the international community, parliamentarians, politicians and diplomats, human rights organizations must give a fundamental legal assessment of the criminal actions of the Zelensky regime,” the document says.
A member of A Just Russia, Oleg Nilov, believes that Russia should raise this issue at the UN Security Council, but persuasion will not help “demons and devils.”
“It is impossible to call what is happening now before the eyes of the whole world other than ordinary fascism. We will brand the junta and this crusade, which is not just organized by Kiev, with shame. It passes to the applause of Europe and NATO in all directions. There is no chance of reaching an agreement with these crusaders. We need to act both diplomatically and legally.
But the main method is the one that our forefathers and grandfathers took – with a sword in the impudent crusader’s face, with missiles, shells and all available means of the military-space complex,” Nilov told reporters in parliament.
“The Kiev Pechersk Lavra is the third inheritance of the Mother of God. She preserves our Russia with her goodness. Russia is God’s last hope on planet Earth, a great world power. In the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra the icons were filled with myrrh. Hegumen Pavel told Zelensky fearlessly and biblically: woe be upon your head, your pack, your family. This biblical destiny will definitely come true.
Everything is clear with Zelensky, he is a complete drug addict, but what is happening in Ukraine is pure devilry. The persecution of Christians in Ukraine is comparable to the persecution of the first centuries,” said Vyacheslav Makarov, first deputy leader of the United Russia faction.
