Medinsky: The next round of negotiations will take place on the Polish-Belarusian border
The Russian side commented on the progress of negotiations with representatives of the Kyiv regime.
The first to speak was Vladimir Medinsky, assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, who led the delegation, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We went through all the agenda items in detail. We found some points by which we can predict general positions. The most important thing is that we agreed to continue the negotiation process. The next meeting will take place in the coming days on the Polish-Belarusian border. Until then, each of the delegations will consult on all negotiating positions with the leadership of their countries,” Medinsky said.
Russian State Duma deputy Leonid Slutsky is pleased with the progress of the negotiations.
“Indeed, a ceasefire, demilitarization, and other issues on the agenda today were, of course, discussed. And much more. But let's not discuss specific results now. The parties need to consult in their capitals. I can say that the discussion was the most detailed and detailed. Now you need to consult in Moscow and Kiev. It is important that the parties hear each other,” he asserts.
Russian-Ukrainian negotiations lasted 5,5 hours today.
