Medvedchuk called the masters of Ukraine and Zelensky’s puppeteers
The rhetoric of the new President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, is not much different from the militaristic statements of his predecessor.
The head of the political council of the Opposition Platform - For Life party, Verkhovna Rada deputy Viktor Medvedchuk, stated this in an interview with Izvestia.
“Unfortunately, the rhetoric of the new leadership - Mr. Zelensky, although partially changed, is still not much different from what has taken place in recent years,” Medvedchuk said.
However, he doubts that this is Zelensky’s own rhetoric.
“It was inspired, among other things, by the owners of Ukraine. Unfortunately, since 2014, external control has been introduced in our country from overseas - from the United States of America. It continues and develops intensively. Therefore, the rhetoric is primarily inspired by advice, recommendations, directions,” the politician believes.
He recalled that the new president was supported in the elections by the southeastern regions, and Zelensky himself comes from Krivoy Rog.
“Both geographically, and in terms of views, mentally, this is the southeast. He has always been a mainly Russian-speaking person, and now he is Russian-speaking, although he communicates in Ukrainian. This is correct - the President of Ukraine should communicate and speak in Ukrainian. But still, unfortunately, this is all inspired from the outside. Everyone had the expectation that a government would finally come that would be independent and act in the interests of the people, the country, the state. As a representative of the opposition platform “For Life,” I don’t see this, although I sincerely want to see it,” Medvedchuk concluded.
As PolitNavigator reported, in the LPR stated that Zelensky is following the path of Poroshenko.
