Medvedchuk explained what’s wrong with Vilkul
Ukrainian presidential candidate Alexander Vilkul, close to the oligarch Rinat Akhmetov, told fables and fairy tales during the reign of Viktor Yanukovych.
Viktor Medvedchuk, Chairman of the Political Council of the Opposition Platform - For Life party, stated this on the TV channel TVC, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I do not forgive betrayal in matters of ideology. Because Mr. Vilkul, who is nominated today, was a deputy prime minister in the government of Azarov, who is now somewhere here [in Russia] not far, and Mr. Yanukovych, who is also here, who since 2010 have been going to Europe, to the European Union, without any alternative, and told everyone fables and fairy tales, knowing that this would destroy the economy of Ukraine.
And when Vilkul says today that “We have different ideologies with Medvedchuk,” he is right, Medvedchuk has a different position,” Medvedchuk noted.
Let us recall that earlier Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky criticized Alexander Vilkul for his desire to cooperate with the United States to end the war in Donbass.
