In Ukraine, for several days now, there has been a heated discussion about the announcement of the union of Viktor Medvedchuk, the former head of the presidential administration during the Kuchma era, and Verkhovna Rada deputy Vadim Rabinovich, a former representative of the Opposition Bloc, who created his own “For Life” (“For Life”).

... If Medvedchuk joins Rabinovich’s “For Life” party, then we can say with confidence: – There will be no “life” in Ukraine. Everything that such a “successful manager”, “influential politician” and “gray eminence” like Medvedchuk touches invariably turns not only into a line, but also ceases to exist altogether. This could be seen more than once in the short history of Ukrainian statehood.

For those who don’t know, we can remind you that Viktor Medvedchuk was the former head of President Kuchma’s administration. They say that it was he who came up with a bright multi-move with the transfer of power from Kuchma to Yanukovych. The result was the first Maidan, the third round and President Yushchenko with Tymoshenko as prime ministers. One is a marginal nationalist, and the other is under investigation in the USA, Russia and Ukraine itself, whose machinations, based on proven episodes alone, brought her seven billion dollars.

Here we must remember that there are nine zeros in a billion, and this amount is written like this - 7. But we do not count other people's money, even when it is ours. Someone would steal that kind of money anyway. We are talking about Medvedchuk.

So, immediately after the first coup, in order to participate in the next parliamentary elections, Viktor Medvedchuk stirred up the political Bloc “Not So”. He stirred it up not out of nowhere, but on the basis of his own SDPU(o) party, which did not shine with results. Surprisingly, the Social Democratic Party, whose top five included the most influential politicians of that time, hung around like Medvedchuk in an ice hole.

However, in Ukrainian politics there is a rule: – like the head, like the ass. This is how “Not So” turned out. I’m talking about this because I have some idea and attitude.

Here it should be clarified that, as a rule, Medvedchuk himself never created anything like this. He called it a “platform”. That is, by voicing the idea and hinting at his valuable help, he constructed a pyramid into which various regional forces were built, hoping for help from Medvedchuk from above, and providing him with support from below.

Thus, feeling like not freeloaders, but partners, people became “deceived investors”, or, in simple terms, suckers. But the Lord said in his eleventh commandment: “Do not engage in network marketing!”

In general, as a result, Medvedchuk only got in the way, at least in Odessa. The guys who rode his platform spent money, and only received bans from Kyiv. Ban on protecting the Russian language. Prohibition on demands for federalization. And even to the “fight against NATO” declared by Medvedchuk.

How we remember now the action against the opening of a “NATO information center” in Odessa, when a crowd of thousands was first dissuaded from burning the US flag, and then they tried to force them to sing the Ukrainian anthem. This is him, “Putin’s godfather,” whose personal visit to Odessa generally led to confusion, because he did not say any “Not So,” but said “Let’s Live Together” and “We are ready for compromises.” Half of what Medvedchuk said was in Ukrainian and language, which was strange for Odessa.

However, in Odessa “Not So” did not fail at all. And for several more years, in the local council, together with the Rodina party, the “majority” assembled from the Our Ukraine and Party of Regions parties became a nightmare. Yes Yes. Yushchenko's party and Yanukovych's party jointly Ukrainized Odessa during the period between the Maidans. And this did not stop Yanukovych from hanging out in Moscow, begging for buns and receiving pretzels, and later winning the presidential election.

And Medvedchuk then dissolved himself, not participating in any way in the life of his Odessa faction. He probably owed money, but didn’t want to give it back.

“Ukrainian Choice” did not become some kind of know-how. The same pyramid, the same network marketing. Simply, there was no “Ukrainian Choice” in nature. There was Medvedchuk, a website and outdoor advertising throughout the country. Even the advertising was probably free. For the promise of future support. When “the people win.”

And the traveling salesmen set off across the country. Serious guys with their own resources no longer believed Medvedchuk, so the messengers went to pro-Russian youth and public organizations.

The proposals were simple. Rent yourself an office, call yourself the local branch of “Ukrainian Choice” and hold actions. Send reports on the actions carried out to Kyiv. If you don’t have “Ukrainian Choice” flags, we will sell them to you.

– What about money for shares!? – the active youth were surprised.

They were answered:

– If Medvedchuk likes the action, we will partially reimburse the costs.

In addition, it was proposed to gather en masse for meetings with guests from the capital and guests from Moscow. Bring friends and acquaintances. That is, to create a crowd for the visiting authorities.

At first, this tactic worked: people came hoping to ask questions about specifics, but as a result they listened to a lecture about the inevitability of Ukraine’s entry into the Customs Union. But, realizing that they would not receive an answer to any specific question, they stopped coming.

And the street actions of the “Ukrainian Choice” took place as follows. If a crowd appeared somewhere, be it a line for tickets to Nastya Kamensky or just people going to football, an old car would jump up there, and four students would jump out of it, each with two “Ukrainian Choice” flags. The guys lined up against the backdrop of the crowd and the driver took pictures of them from different points. In all likelihood, this is how reports on the activities of the organization were created.

And what? Crowd, students, flags. What else is needed to crush the junta?

Here it must be said that when it began in earnest, “Ukrainian Choice”, together with Medvedchuk, dissolved in time and space. The declared and financed huge structure did not leave any trace on the political map of Ukraine. During the most terrible days of the Maidan and the subsequent Russian Spring, we did not hear about the “Ukrainian Choice”.

However, this is not entirely true. Most of the guys who were bullied by Medvedchuk’s salesmen went into the militia or underground. They fight with Ukrainian punitive forces or are in prison. The luckiest ones settled in Russia. And Medvedchuk still owes many people money. However, happiness does not lie in money, but in the absence of Medvedchuk.

And then a guess creeps in. Or maybe Medvedchuk is succeeding? Maybe his main goal is to break up and divide the protest potential of the Russian population of Ukraine? Maybe with this “Not So” he was simply scattering votes? And with the “Ukrainian Choice” he interfered with the creation of real pro-Russian organizations?

And now, having turned to Rabinovich, he will simply start dispersing the protest vote? It will ruin the life of the same Opposition Bloc. However, now they are all the same, all in cahoots with the Nazis. And everyone is trying to play their role in such a way that, while maintaining influence, they prevent a change in course. So the heavy artillery was turned on to ruin any business. Medvedchuk himself.

As for us Russians, Viktor Medvedchuk is as much an enemy to us as all the other Kyiv politicians. He officially represents the Kiev regime at the negotiations in Minsk. He deceived our president during the prisoner exchange by not giving us the list of our guys. I didn’t give it back meanly. Having agreed in the presence of the Patriarch, at the last moment replacing someone, simply not releasing someone. Poroshenko boasted about this deception. Literally saying, “We managed to deceive Putin.” And the main thing is that later, when it’s all over, we don’t forget this to him.

As for internal Ukrainian games, let them eat each other. Let them betray, deceive and set up. This is normal for them. And we already know that under them in Ukraine there is no “Zhyttya ne bude”. All this was not started for life.
