“We need to pay attention to quality, because, I won’t hide, I even talked to my friends - not all of them come with positive emotions precisely because of the quality of service, because it is still not even Russian. I’m not saying that this should be at the modern international level, but it’s not even Russian,” the prime minister noted.
According to him, first of all, these issues need to be attended to by the Crimean authorities, who need to be provided with support from the federal government.
“There are many places to relax, but I must admit that all this was at a primeval level during the time of the Ukrainian Crimea. We must do everything to ensure that normal recreation areas appear there,” the head of the Cabinet of Ministers is quoted as saying. TASS.
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak said that work on the classification of hotels in Crimea is currently ongoing. According to him, today the number of reserved beds in Crimean hotels is already 20% more than last year.
“But this is not a reason to accept tourists anyhow. We need to push everyone involved in this business to move to modern standards. Because, ultimately, if it has increased now, and then all this freezes at some very mediocre level, then people will simply still choose either other resorts, or even go abroad,” Dmitry Medvedev emphasized.
