Medvedev was concerned about the high prices for air tickets to Simferopol

“This morning I went to a website that deals with ordering air tickets. I looked at how you can order tickets Moscow-Simferopol. There is such a service, it works. But the cost is very different, I mean economy class tickets, of course,” the head of government said today at a meeting with deputy prime ministers.
He emphasized that air tickets are not getting cheaper.
“Indeed, you can buy a ticket for seven thousand rubles, but only if you order about a month in advance. Everything else turns out to be significantly more expensive,” the prime minister stated.
“We need to deal with pricing policy, and, I hope, Dobrolet (Aeroflot’s low-cost airline), which occupies a special niche, will soon start flying with us,” added Dmitry Medvedev.
It is worth noting that many residents of mainland Russia refuse to fly to Crimea precisely because of the high price of air tickets.
“I wanted to fly with my husband to my sister in Simferopol for a couple of weeks. The asking price is 23 thousand rubles per ticket. Expensive, they refused. We’ll be vacationing in Spain,” Muscovite Nina told Navigator.
