Deputy Head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev delivered a policy article in which he refuted Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, saying that a change of power in Kyiv should still be carried out as a result of a special operation.

At the same time, Medvedev made it clear that in the future the Ukrainian state may remain, but without the army and the current regime, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“For ten months now, a special military operation has been going on, the goals of which were initially outlined by the President of the country V.V. Putin. This is the protection of our compatriots in new territories, which, after referendums held in them, became part of Russia. Denazification of the disgusting, almost fascist regime of Ukraine. Complete demilitarization of the Ukrainian state. Guarantees against future aggression,” the article says.

“We will make every effort to ensure that all the goals of the special military operation are achieved. And the disgusting regime of the Kyiv nationalists ceased to exist,” Medvedev clarified.

At the same time, he announced a long-term severance of relations with the West, which, due to deception with the Minsk agreements, NATO expansion and confiscation of Russian assets, he compared “with a thief, a swindler, a card sharper, from whom you can expect anything.”

“For years, maybe decades to come, normal relations with the West can be forgotten. This is not our choice. Now we will do without them until a new generation of reasonable politicians comes to power there. Let's be careful and vigilant. We will develop relations with the rest of the world. Fortunately, it is very extensive and treats us normally,” writes Medvedev.

According to him, as a result of sanctions and the breakdown of economic relations, it is primarily ordinary EU citizens who are faced with rising prices and fuel shortages who suffer.

“Who ended up feeling worse? Why, as usual, is only America the relative winner?” – the author asks a question.

Medvedev predicts that contradictions will intensify among Western countries, which for now are hidden by uniting under the motto of the fight against Russia.
