“The current situation is caused not only by a number of economic factors […], but also by some political decisions that you and I developed together and for which we bear joint political responsibility,” RIA Novosti quotes Medvedev. The Prime Minister explained that we are talking primarily about the decision to include Crimea into Russia.

Medvedev noted that this responsibility should be shared by all political forces in the country. “I mean, of course, not only United Russia, I emphasize practically all political forces, including our common decision to support our people who have expressed a desire to live in the Russian Federation, to return to Russia and to whom our country has agreed,” - noted the Prime Minister.

“In the face of a crisis, consolidation is necessary,” the head of government emphasized.
