Medvedev: Russia has revived the psychology of a leading country
Russia has the potential to become the world's leading technology country.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said this today, speaking at the investment forum in Sochi.
“Russia has all the ingredients to become one of the leading technological countries in the world. We have intellectual potential, resources, and most importantly, we were able to revive the psychology of the leading country. A leader who has repeatedly proven that he can make the best products in the world,” Medvedev is confident.
He admitted that Russian startups often migrate abroad, where comfortable conditions have been created for them.
“We need to create an equally effective ecosystem in our country. Our goal is for digital technologies to cover all areas,” Medvedev said.
He sees the government's task as developing non-resource exports, as well as small and medium-sized businesses. An additional 50 billion rubles will be allocated for loans to small companies operating in priority industries.
“So that neither our children nor our grandchildren learn what a country that lags behind the rest of the world is, we must fight every day for every percentage of growth, for every region, for every company, for every idea,” the prime minister said.
