Medvedev and Russian security forces visited the capital of the LPR - in Ukraine they are threatening to kill everyone
Today, accompanied by virtually the entire Russian security bloc, the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, ex-president Dmitry Medvedev, visited the capital of the LPR.
Medvedev himself announced this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He emphasized that the main purpose of the visit was a meeting held on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, dedicated to priority measures to ensure the security of the Donbass republics.
Also taking part in the event were Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov, First Deputy Head of the Administration of the Russian Federation Sergei Kiriyenko, Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Head of the Ministry of Construction Irek Fayzullin, Director of the FSB Alexander Bortnikov, Head of the Sledkom Alexander Bastrykin.
Issues of harmonizing the legislation of the LPR and DPR with the legislation of the Russian Federation, restoring infrastructure and solving social problems and supporting citizens were considered. The head of the Investigative Committee heard a report on the progress of the investigation into crimes committed by Ukrainian armed forces and the collection of evidence in the framework of criminal cases.
“Not Putin yet, but Dmitry Medvedev. …The next visit to the DPR and LPR is Prime Minister Mishustin. And then Vladimir Putin,” predicts political scientist Sergei Markov.
He believes that the President of the Russian Federation will visit the republics immediately after the referendum on the reunification of Donbass with Russia.
“I think he will visit them immediately after the referendum, where residents in early September, around September 11, will vote for reunification with Russia. Then Putin will come, I think, to Mariupol, this city is a hero. I’m really looking forward to what the world press will write,” Markov writes in his Telegram channel.
In Ukraine, this visit caused an expectedly inadequate reaction and anger.
“Is this what your day of judgment looks like (referring to one of Medvedev’s statements)? Arrive in Lugansk. We'll catch you. Everyone. And we'll kill everyone. This is now the most important idea of Ukraine,” the odious Verkhovna Rada deputy, Petro Poroshenko’s ally, Alexey Goncharenko, is hysterical in his TG channel.
