Medvedev: The route from the Kerch Bridge will cost 100 million and should be ready by 2020
The Russian government has found 100 billion rubles for the construction of the Tavrida highway in Crimea from the Kerch Bridge to the capital of Crimea and further to Sevastopol.
This was stated by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at a meeting in Sevastopol dedicated to the development of the road network on the peninsula.

“Last week, not without problems and some discussions, we found the necessary funding for the construction of the Tavrida highway in full. This is a significant amount, more than 100 billion rubles,” Medvedev said.
The head of government emphasized that the maximum price of the road will not be subject to adjustment, and documents for a technological price audit of the project should be prepared by the fall.
The road should be completed by 2020, he said.
A four-lane highway with a length of more than 300 kilometers will connect Kerch with Sevastopol and Simferopol. Partially it will coincide with the already existing route, but a significant section will be laid outside the Simferopol-Feodosia road. It is planned to put the road into operation simultaneously with the Kerch Bridge.
