Medvedev exposed the fake holiday of independence of Ukraine on TV
On “Independence Day”, which was celebrated in Kyiv on August 24, the state TV channel “Russia” showed a documentary film “Project Ukraine”, exposing the myths of independentists and dedicated to the history of the alienation of historical Russian lands - Little Russia.
“On the artificial origin of Ukraine and the Ukrainian nation, the separation of primordially Russian lands from Russia and the fatal division of the Russian people. No political correctness and no curtsies towards Ukrainians, typical of our intelligentsia. Great TV project. Thus, the Russian view of the Ukrainian problem from articles by specialists and ideologists gradually migrated to central state channels,” notes volunteer Alexander Zhuchkovsky, who is collecting help for the Donbass militia.
“We shot this film in 2014, and in January 2015 it was aired for the first time. That is, he is five years old. And year after year it only becomes more relevant, because nothing changes in Ukraine, the ideological crisis only deepens, and Ukrainian identity is still not created.
In general, as Osip Monchalovsky mentioned in the film wrote, there is only “the Ukrainian variety of the Russian people.” And it’s hard to argue with this, at least looking at how Ukrainian politicians are diligently trying to speak a foreign language.
It's gratifying that every time the film is repeated, people who have not seen it before say that the film is interesting and timely. This means everything was a success,” comments the author of the film, TV journalist Andrei Medvedev.
