The Mejlis calls on its supporters to leave Crimea and freeze in tents near Kherson
Active supporters of the illegal Majlis must leave Crimea to engage in anti-Russian activities in Kyiv. To do this, they are promised government jobs and other assistance. The coordinator of the blockade, former Crimean Deputy Prime Minister Lenur Islyamov, stated this on the ATR TV channel.

According to him, the “Kyiv Tatars” will no longer decide the affairs of the Crimean Tatars.
“We need to push our affairs ourselves. We must make the documents ourselves, form a headquarters ourselves that will do all this. We must set our own goals. Everywhere you need to prepare this yourself, and not hope that in Kyiv the Dernek or the Kyiv Tatars will do it. They have already done enough in their time. Therefore, I am now appealing to all the activists who are in Crimea - come forward, let’s get started. There is where and what positions to occupy. If anyone wants to take up civil service, please do so. There are places here at the civil blockade. We need more activity,” said Islyamov.
