Mejlis members announced an anti-Russian march in Kyiv after a meeting with the Turkish ambassador
The Mejlis, banned in Russia for extremist activities, announced a march would be held in Kiev on February 26 to mark the third anniversary of the clashes near the Crimean parliament building, after which “polite people” appeared on the streets of the peninsula due to the danger of a large-scale ethnic conflict.

The Mejlis march, announced by the head of the illegal organization Refat Chubarov, will be held under the slogan “Get the Russian occupier out of Ukrainian Crimea.”
Participants are encouraged to come with the flags of Ukraine and the Majlis, as well as portraits of Ukrainian extremists and saboteurs arrested in Russian Crimea.
It is interesting that the Majlis announced the march shortly after the meeting of Chubarov and Mustafa Dzhemilev with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, who arrived in Kyiv.
