Simferopol, February 26 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) – About 5 thousand activists of the Crimean Tatar Mejlis surrounded the building of the Supreme Council of Crimea before Russian forces, going out to a rally demanding to cancel today’s session, where a decision could be made on the return of the 1992 Constitution.
Members of the Mejlis are chanting “Get out of the gang!”, “Ukraine!”, “Crimea is not Russia!”, “Glory to Ukraine - glory to heroes!”. They unfurled Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar flags.

Right there, under the parliament building, Russian activists are constantly arriving. They unfurled the flags of Crimea and the Russian Federation, chanting “Russia!”, “Sevastopol – Crimea – Russia!”.
Now the parties are trying to drown each other out. Clashes break out in the crowd - one man's head was smashed.
The head of the Crimean Tatar Mejlis, Refat Chubarov, said that his supporters demand the cancellation of the session. “We warned that there is no need to take action to disturb Crimea,” Chubarov said.
