Mejlis members don’t like it: Poroshenko forgot about Tatar autonomy
For some reason, Petro Poroshenko forgot to mention his promise to transform Crimea into Tatar autonomy in his message to the Verkhovna Rada today, noted Mejlis propagandist Aider Muzhdabaev.

“And it would be important to say something meaningful about the future of Crimea now. Especially in an address to deputies, to whom the president himself should soon come up with a project to reformat the Autonomous Republic of Crimea into the Crimean Tatar autonomy within Ukraine. In order to realize the rights of the indigenous people of Ukraine, who suffer for loyalty to their country under occupation, and to give Crimea a status that guarantees the fight for its people to the end, without providing for bargaining with the Russians in the future.
The lack of clear signals from the president, especially for residents of occupied Crimea now, in the fourth year of occupation, is not the best signal. However, the president’s activities are not limited to the message. We hope that he remained true to his intentions to support our people and correct the fatal mistake of the previous authorities, who considered the Crimean Tatars “enemies” and the Russians “brothers.” Because of which, in his own words, the occupation of Crimea became possible,” Muzhdabaev writes in his blog.
