Islyamov announced a gathering of former and current blockade survivors and their march to Russian checkpoints.
“On the 24th, I invite all of Ukraine, all those who were with us, to be with us on this day. Let's march to the Russians, force all their might to gather at the border - let them gather all their berets there and wait. Because they don't know what we will do next. Let them gather there every day and wait for us to come in,” Islyamov said.
The head of the Mejlis, banned in the Russian Federation for extremist activities, Refat Chubarov recalled that Russian haters of the widest spectrum took part in the blockade of Crimea.
“We had one principle - everyone on the border has one enemy - his name is Putin. And we have one side for our hatred - it is Russia, which invaded Crimea. And there at the border we resolve all other issues. And with this we achieved the unification of everyone who was at the border,” Chubarov said.
