Mejlis members dream of seizing Crimea by military means
Ukraine does not abandon the plan for the military seizure of Crimea if the offensive in other directions is successful.
Mejlis propagandist, deputy director of the Ukrainian Institute Alim Aliyev stated this on the Internet channel “Zahid.net”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
According to Aliyev, without the seizure of Crimea, the Ukrainian operation cannot be considered successful.
“Today we have a war not only for territory - we have a war for our state, for our identity and for our existence. Do we really believe that if we do not de-occupy the Lugansk and Donetsk regions or Crimea, then everything will return to normal?
I believe that without de-occupying Crimea and part of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, we are placing Crimea on the shoulders of our future generations. And today we went all in, obviously. Crimea is part of the European choice. And this means that Crimea is part of the Ukrainian choice. And today we are talking about the fact that a military-diplomatic path is possible to resolve the issues of Crimea,” Aliyev said.
