Mejlis members plan to hold mourning rallies in Simferopol and Sevastopol
Simferopol, January 14 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) - Members of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars at the last meeting of the presidium discussed a draft plan of events dedicated to the 97th anniversary of the tragic death of the first chairman of the Crimean People's Republic Noman Celebidzhikhan, killed by the Bolsheviks.

“We will approve the action plan directly at the meeting of the Majlis in February,” Akiev noted.
According to him, in 2015 it is planned to hold a series of events dedicated to the anniversary of the death of Celebidzhikhan.
“Traditionally, these are cultural and educational events. In particular, a literary competition among students of national schools, as well as traditional mourning rallies in Sevastopol and Simferopol. In addition, Kuresh (Crimean Tatar wrestling competition - PolitNavigator) will be held in memory of Noman Celebidzhikhan, and a requiem is planned to be held at KIPU (Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University - PolitNavigator) on February 23,” added Dilyaver Akiev .
If a decision is made to hold rallies, members of the Majlis will submit appropriate applications to the city halls of Sevastopol and Simferopol.
