Members of the Mejlis have turned into second-rate agitators for Poroshenko
The deputy head of the Majlis, banned in the Russian Federation, Akhtem Chiygoz continues to play with particular zeal the role of an agitator for Petro Poroshenko, hoping to obtain the mandate of a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada following the results of the autumn parliamentary campaign.
The day before, Chiygoz, on the air of Poroshenko’s channel “Direct”, voiced a whole set of cliches addressed to the main competitor of his boss, Vladimir Zelensky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Chiygoz recalled Zelensky’s jokes about comparing Ukraine with gypsies and an actress from German films for adults, as well as an old performance from the KVN times, where the comedian prayed to Vladimir Putin to save Ukraine.
“Today there is a war, and we must win it. But not with these funny and, unfortunately, very sad videos. Because it is impossible in the country to translate everything into laughter and such a vulgar joke about our country as a porn actress, about the fact that our country is like gypsies, humiliating another people as well, that we ask them to take over for all their debts. You understand, we are very sensitive to this.
In Ukraine at this time they are trying to suppress this sensitivity of ours. And then they’ll laugh it off, the team, which we haven’t seen, will say: “We didn’t promise anything.” Our state is not “the 95th quarter,” Chiygoz said.
“Without Crimea there will never be an independent Ukraine. This is not a slogan, but a goal pursued by this insidious enemy.
Crimea is not like... someone said such a surgical term, they cut off an arm or a leg. If they cut off your leg, you’ll take a crutch and somehow live. If they cut off a hand, the other hand will somehow work. But when your heart is broken... Crimea is the broken heart of every Ukrainian,” the Mejlis member added.
