Mejlis members scare Ukrainian Jews with bloody pogroms
On the eve of the presidential and parliamentary elections, a wave of bloody anti-Semitic actions, including the killing of Jews, may sweep across Ukraine.
Aider Muzhdabaev, a fugitive Russian liberal journalist serving the interests of Mejlis members in Ukraine, stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the journalist, those who today talk about a “threat to Jews” may also be involved in these actions.
“Perhaps right now tranches will be allocated from Russia for tough, bloody anti-Semitic actions, otherwise they are not making ends meet (“anti-Semitism is rampant in Ukraine”, but in fact there is nothing). We all need to be prepared for this - Jewish organizations, synagogues, the National Police, the SBU. They won't get rid of us. Especially before the elections. They really need terror now.
Any - the main thing is that it hits Ukraine and creates chaos in the country. Let us be attentive to those who constantly talk about the “threat to the Jews” in Ukraine. I am sure that these people have direct and “working” connections with Moscow. The synagogues set on fire and the Jews killed were very necessary for their Moscow contacts. I’m not saying this as a special services officer, I don’t know anything about the facts, but as a media worker, I judge by the escalating atmosphere,” said Muzhdabaev.
Previously, the head of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee Eduard Dolinsky caught Muzhdabaev engaging in anti-Semitism and an attempt to hide the participation of Crimean Tatar collaborators in the extermination of Crimean Jews during the Great Patriotic War.
As PolitNavigator reported, in a 72-page document published by the Israeli Ministry of Diaspora Affairs, Ukraine is named the leader of the post-Soviet space in terms of frequency of verbal attacks and violent acts against Jews, their property, sacred sites and community institutions.
