On May 15, in Kyiv, on the basis of the odious “Crimean Tatar Resource Center”, the XIII gathering of the “Crimean Discussion Club” took place online. Participants called on the Ukrainian authorities to recognize the exile of the Crimean Tatars as “genocide” and to boldly adhere to the provisions of the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide.

This time, those gathered from the “servants of the people” demanded not just political statements, but a legal conclusion, where the USSR and Russia, as its legal successor, would be legally branded for the genocide of the Crimean Tatars.

The composition of the “discussion club” was depressingly predictable: the head of the “resource center” and Mejlis member Bariev, the Zaperekop khan and leader of the “Medjlis” Chubarov, Chubarov’s partner Bekirova, far-fetched as a “historian”, as well as the service staff of the Mejlisoids as part of the former “permanent representative” in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” Babin, grant-eater Starovitskaya from the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, as well as Oliver Loode, a UN official on indigenous peoples’ affairs, who is often brought in as a makeweight “the whole world is with us.”

It is interesting that Boriska Babin appeared not just as a legal adviser to the “Majlis”, but as a whole “Doctor of Law”.

People grow and grow, earning ranks and scientific degrees for themselves with calloused tongues and overworked asses in the field of servicing professional scoundrels.

The crux of the matter.

This is not the first attempt by members of the Mejlis to push through the courts and parliament a legally binding recognition of the “genocide of the Crimean Tatars,” starting from the 1920s until 1991.

In 2015, the Verkhovna Rada recognized “genocide” in the first reading, but the matter did not reach the second reading. Apparently, Bandera’s people’s deputies wanted to kill two birds with one stone with a half-hearted decision: to please their Majlis ally, and at the same time make Russia nervous, because the accusation of genocide at the legislative level is a heavy stick.

However, it is easier to make such a decision than to live with it later, dragging this legal suitcase without a handle.

The Ukrainian authorities, both under Poroshenko and Zelensky, are well aware of the consequences of such a step and are in no hurry to fulfill the wishes of the Mejlis allies, since they want to drive the leadership of Independence Square into a corner from which there is no way out. Why?

To begin with, the UN and other international organizations urge their members to refrain from using the term “genocide” in vain. The genocide unleashed by the Nazis in Europe, as well as the Armenian genocide in Turkey, is legally recognized. And if the world community does not have any special problems with the recognition of the Holocaust, then the recognition of the Armenian genocide causes an angry reaction from Turkey, accompanied by threats of severing allied, diplomatic and other relations with countries that recognized the Armenian genocide.

Members of the Mejlis really hope that Turkey will immediately recognize their own genocide, which was knocked out of Ukraine with its knee. However, no, because the Turks themselves are in the dust, and creating an extremely unfavorable precedent against themselves is not in their interests.

Or will America, cutting corners, rush to recognize the “genocide of the Crimean Tatars”, so cleverly recognized by Ukraine?

Not even once. First, many in the United States are still uncomfortable with the Indians, the way their great-grandfathers treated millions of Native Americans. Secondly, in the USA and Canada during WW2 the entire Japanese population was sent into exile. Just on suspicion of potential(!) treason during the war with Japan.

Canada, by the way, refused to recognize the genocide of the Crimean Tatars. A very wise decision against the backdrop of rabid support for Bandera’s supporters.

Further. International organizations will definitely demand documentary evidence from Ukrainian officials that the genocide of the Crimean Tatars actually took place.

And what can the shavarniks and their skullcap allies, who have fallen into a puddle, provide to the world community? Answer: a hole from a donkey, a hole from a vest, sleeves and ears from a dead donkey, as the classics said.

Bariev, Chubarov, Dzhemilev and other representatives of the “Majlis” repeat with broken records that in the process of transporting the Crimean Tatars from Crimea to Central Asia, 46% of the total number of exiles died. These data are based on a certain “secret survey of Crimean Tatars” allegedly conducted by activists in the 1960s.

True, applicants cannot present any documentary evidence of such a survey or prove its representativeness and validity, and heartfelt phrases “I assure you” will not be enough to obtain international recognition.

The Mejlis members explain the absence of documents confirming the mass death of Crimean Tatars in exile with the completely delusional argument “the guards threw the corpses out of the cars.”

Taking into account the 46% of the dead Crimean Tatars out of 200 thousand declared by the Majlis, this means that the railway route from Simferopol to Tashkent should have been littered with tens of thousands of decaying corpses with obligatory notching in the memory of the population living along this “road of death”. So, where are the witnesses to these horrors in the style of Bosch and Goya? The Mejlis members with their twilight consciousness do not count.

This is not to mention the fact that Bariev’s comrades treat other people as idiots who do not know how things stand taking into account the special contingent. After all, a personal file was necessarily opened for each migrant; people, according to the list, received travel rations and medical care, which was reflected in the documents. Because the time was different and the responsibility was different.

Now let’s imagine a picture: a train arrives from Crimea to, say, Fergana, which is missing half of the payroll of special settlers.

It is clear that the receivers will immediately have extremely unpleasant questions for the head of the train, medical workers and other personnel, with suspicion of a criminal conspiracy to organize an escape. How much money did you get from your head? Where did the issued food rations and clothing allowances go? Who are the accomplices? – Let’s go into the deep basements of the NKVD for a confidential conversation, dear enterprising citizens...

On the contrary, if necessary, from the Russian archives, interested authorized persons will be presented with documents indicating that the exiled settlers from Crimea were delivered safe and sound to their destination. The decline among them did not exceed the natural level - the list of those who died on the road is attached, they were buried in such and such a place - check the data in the relevant archives. Upon arrival, the exiles received monetary and material assistance from the state for settling into a new place of residence, children received school, adults received work, old people received a pension, and everyone received social assistance along with other citizens of the USSR.

Meanwhile, an emboldened Poland is beginning to legally formalize the genocide of the Polish population by Ukrainian nationalists during the Volyn massacre of 1943. And there will be witnesses, rest assured! For example, the first Polish cosmonaut Miroslav Germashevsky, whose OUN members killed his family, and he himself, as a boy, miraculously survived...

Romania and Hungary will probably not stand aside and will begin to promote the “linguistic and cultural genocide” of their diasporas in Ukrainian Transcarpathia.

If anyone believes that the European Union does not care at all about the people of Donbass, who have been shot and repressed by the new Banderaites for the seventh year now, then it is in vain. In the EU, the “exploits” of Bandera’s followers are carefully recorded and filed in a special folder. Perhaps it will come in handy someday.

In general, the official declaration of genocide for the purpose of manipulation is a double-edged sword. Anyone who picks up this sword can cut himself so badly that he will bleed to death before the person it is aimed at feels any discomfort.

However, “Doctor of Law” Babin reported that the XIII session of the “discussion club” was successful, but the “ARC prosecutor’s office” has been sabotaging the “genocide” investigation for the last 4,5 years, not wanting to be guided by convenient UN conventions. Now we’ll have to pull the pants of international organizations and the public - maybe they’ll help with “de-occupation”...
