The head of the Central Election Commission of the Kurultai of the Crimean Tatars, Zair Smedlyaev, announced this on his Facebook page.
“There are roadblocks at the entrances to the village of Zhuravki. Incoming and outgoing vehicles are checked and registered, with special attention paid to vehicles whose owners are Crimean Tatars. All this is explained as anti-terrorism exercises, who the potential terrorists are is already clear! Also in the village they check the storage conditions of firearms for those who have them. The most interesting thing is that at the same time they are looking for a stolen motorcycle in houses, in closets, chests of drawers and computers with mobile phones, which are confiscated without authorization or any documents. In general, another act of intimidation of the Crimean Tatars,” informs Smedlyaev.
He also complained about the shutdown of the Internet and electricity in areas where Crimean Tatars live densely.
“The information space is being cleansed, the Asia-Pacific region has been closed, and now they are trying to paralyze Internet users. I won’t be surprised that soon there will be no telephone service!” predicts Zair Smedlyaev.
