The head of the Central Election Commission of the Kurultai of the Crimean Tatars, Zair Smedlyaev, announced this on his Facebook page.
“A search was carried out in the house of Amet Umerov, a former operator of the ATR TV channel, who is now under interrogation at the center for countering extremism,” he wrote.
Let us recall that on February 26, 2014, the ATR TV channel carried out detailed filming of clashes between supporters of the Majlis and Ukrainian nationalists with Simferopol residents under the walls of the Crimean parliament, during which Russian activists Valentina Koreneva and Igor Postny were killed.
