The fugitive Russian journalist Aider Muzhdabaev, close to the Majlis, stated this on Channel 5. According to him, those who participate in legal proceedings against members of the Majlis may be subject to persecution.
“Whoever knows that he has committed a crime, they do not need to be reminded: they know perfectly well what crimes they are committing. Right now they are putting pressure on Ilmi Umerov, they want to arrange for him there psychiatric examination, because a person who has remained faithful to his oath and duty is, of course, considered abnormal in the Russian world. Because it’s normal to sell, betray, and so on. These are specific people who are involved in the courts, they must be held accountable for their crimes,” said Muzhdabaev.
